This policy explains how Yusra Energy (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use this website or ask us for a quote, an installation or support. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). We are the data controller for the data described here. Our address is Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.

What we collect

Contact details you give us in a form: name, phone number, email (optional), state and area, and address for installations.
Request details: products and quantities, Load Calculator answers you choose to send us, installation site details, preferred dates and your notes.
Site photos you upload with an installation request. We remove location (GPS) and camera data from them when they are uploaded.
Messages you send through the contact form.
Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to protect our forms from abuse and appears in standard server logs.

We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not take payments online.

Information kept in your browser

Your quote basket, Load Calculator draft and theme choice are stored in your own browser so they are still there when you come back. They are not sent to us unless you submit a request. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's site data. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Staff who sign in to manage the site receive a session cookie that is necessary for that purpose only.

Why we use it

To respond to your quote, installation or contact request and to prepare and deliver what you ask for (steps taken at your request before a contract, and performing a contract).
To plan site surveys and installations, and to handle warranty claims with manufacturers on your behalf.
To keep records of quotes and work we have done, and to meet legal and tax obligations (legal obligation).
To keep the website secure and prevent spam (legitimate interests).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Our staff, including by WhatsApp: when you send a request, a short summary (your name, phone number, location and request) is sent to our staff through WhatsApp, a service provided by Meta.
Haulage companies we use to deliver your order, who receive the delivery details they need.
Manufacturers, when we make a warranty claim for you.
Service providers that host and run this website and its database on our behalf.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards allowed under the NDPA.

How long we keep it

We keep quote, installation and contact requests for as long as needed to deal with them and for our business records. If you do not become a customer, we delete or anonymise your request within 24 months. Customer records and site photos are kept for as long as warranties and our legal obligations require.

Your rights

Under the NDPA you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or ask us to restrict how we use it, ask for your data in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given. To make a request, contact us at [email protected] or 0808 686 9286. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

Security

We use encrypted connections, restrict staff access to what each role needs, keep site photos private to signed-in staff, and keep a record of changes made in our admin system.
